of Kent County Gent. If he shall be found in Your Bailwk.
and him safe keep so that he have his body before the Justs.
of Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in
the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of
August next to Answer unto an Information for not Aiding
and Assisting the Constable And that the said sherr. have
at the time and place afd the said Writt &c.
Att Which said third tuesday in August being the
fifteenth day of said month in the year of Our Lord
seventeen hundred thirty & Eight came William Harris
Gentleman sherr. of Kent County and made return thereof
to the Court here thereon Indorsed as fol. Vizt
           non Est Inventis pr W. Harris sherr.
Kent County fs Be it remembered that Tench Francis
Gent. Attorney of the Right honourable the Lord propry
that now is who for the same Lord propry in this part
prossecuteth doth come here into the County Court of the
same Lord propry held for Kent County afd to wit at
Chester Town in the County afd the third tuesday in
June Anno Domini Seventeen hundred thirty & eight
before James Harris Esqr. and his Associates the said
Lord propry his Justices of the same County Court
and for the same Lord propry doth give the same
Justices here to understand and be Informed that
whereas Joseph Whittington late of Saint pauls
parish in the County afd planter the            day of
           Anno Domini seventeen hundred thirty and
Eight at the parish afd in the County afd And within
the Jurisdiction of this Court was arrested by
a Certain William McClean then and there being
