being arrested and under the Custody and Charge of the
said William Mc.Clean safely to be Carried by the said
William Mc.Clean before One of the said Lord propry his
Justices Assigned to Conserve the peace in the County afd by
the same Justice then and there to be Examined of and
Concerning the Assault and battery afd and to do & receive
further what in that part concerning the same Assault and
battery should be required being he the said William
Mc.Clean then and there did require and in the name of
the said Lord Propry Command Joseph Nicholson of the
same Parish and County Gent. then and there to Aid and
Assist him the same William Mc.Clean to bring and Convey
him the said Joseph Nicholson Whittington before
Charles Hynson Gent. then one of the said Lord propry
his Justices to keep the peace in the County afd And diverse
felonies Trespasses and other Malefeazances in the said
County perpetrated to hear and determine Assigned being
for the Purpose afd Nevertheless the said Joseph Nicholson
to do the same then and there altogether did refuse and
Contemptuously deny to the Manifest Contempt of the
said Lord propry To the evil and pernicious Example
of all others in such case Offending And against the peace
of the said Lord Propry his good rule and Government
                                     Attorney of the said
Wherefore the same ^ Lord propry for the same Lord
propry prays the Advise of the Court here in the premisses
and that due process of Law here in this Part against the
afd Joseph Nicholson may be made to Answer unto the
said Lord propry of and upon the premisses &ca.
