for the Fees Accrueing on the premisses afd to the Officers
of this Court            Thereupon Richard Grace of Kent
County Labourer present here in Court in his proper
person Acknowledgeth himself Indebted unto his Lordship
the Right honourable the Lord propry. of Maryland in
the sum of five hundred pounds of tobacco to be made
and Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles lands and
Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs
and Successors With Condition to this recognizance
that she the said Joan pay the Fees afd Accrueing on
the premisses afd to the Severall Officers of this Court
Then this Recognizance to be Void Else to remain in
full force in Law                           Jams Smith Clk

His Lordship   Wee the grand Jurors for
agt   the body of this County of Kent
Joan Edwards   do Present Joan Edwards of
Saint Pauls Parish for having a base born child
Test Wm. McClean            John Brown form.
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honourable
the Lord propry. that now is for the body of Kent
County afd upon their Oath do present that Joan
Edwards late of Saint Pauls parish in the County
afd Spinster the tenth day of November Anno Dom.
seventeen hundred thirty and seven at the Parish afd
in the County afd and within the Jurisdiction of this
Court did commit fornication with a certain person
to the Jurors afd unknown and did permit the
same unknown person then and there to have
Carnal knowledged of her body and a bastard on the

body
