And he who followeth for the Lord propry in like manner
saith he is Guilty                           J George
Thereupon Command was given to the sher. of Kent
County that he Immediately cause to come here twelve &c
by whom &c who neither &c To recognize &c because as
well &c of which said precept the said sher. to wit Simon
Wilmer Gentleman now here at this day to wit the twenty
first day of August Anno Domini seventeen hundred &
thirty nine makes return that he hath here ready twelve
&c As by his precept he was Commanded And now
here afterwards to wit the day & year last mentioned come
again the afd Lord propry by his Attorney afd And the
afd John Street in his proper person And the Jurors
of that Jury being Impannelled and called likewise come
to wit Ralph Page, Nicholas Smith, Joseph Carman,
Nathaniel Mc.Clanahan, John Wallis, Samuell
Weikes, Hans Hanson Senr., John Williams, Benjamin
Ricand, John Hodgers, Michael Miller, & William
Wallis who being duly Elected tried & Sworn to say the
truth in the premisses the Same John Street the prisoner
Appearing to the Verdict the Jurors afd Upon their
Oath do say that John Street is guilty as Stands Indicted
And by their foreman they all so Say
And thereupon it is Demanded of the same John Street
here if any thing for himself he hath or to say knoweth
Wherefore the Court here to Judgment and Execution
of him upon the premisses to proceed might not who
nothing further Saith only as before he had said &ca.
Whereupon all & Singular the premisses being by
the Court here fully Seen and understood It is
Considered by the same Court here that the afd John
Street shall stand in and upon the pillory in the
County afd for the space of One hour And shall be
whipped at the publick whipping post in the
