and Leveyed on their bodys goods and chattels Lands and
Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Succes:
:sors With Condition to this recognizance that John Street
afd makes his personall Appearance before the Justices
of Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in
Chester Town in the County afd on the third tuesday of August
next then and there to Answer unto Such things as should
be Objected against him on his Lordships behalf and in the
mean time to keep the peace and be of Good behavour Then
this recognizance to be Void Else to remain in full force
in Law
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honourable
the Lord propry that now is for the body of Kent County upon
their Oath do present that John Street late of Kent County
planter on the seventh day of August Anno Dom. Seventeen
hundred thirty & nine with force and Arms at the County afd
One pair of Mans Shoes Breeches of the Value of fifty pounds
of tobacco of the goods & Chattels of a Certain Dungan
Mc.Grigregory then and there being found then & there
feloniously Stole took and Bore away against the peace
&c And against the form of the Act of Assembly in such
case made & provided                                      J George
On the Back of the afd Indictment was Indorsed as
fol. Vizt                  Billa Vera Nathll Hynson forem.
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court
house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third
tuesday of August being the twenty first day of said month
in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine
cometh the afd Lord propry by Joshua George his Attorney
and prayeth that the afd John Street to the Indictment afd
may Answer                  And the afd John in his
proper person comes and defends the force & injury when
&c And saith that he is in no Sort guilty of the premisses
afd above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment
it is alledged and thereof he putteth himself upon
the Country
