on the Back of the afd Indictment was Indorsed as fol. Vizt
                          Ignoramus Nathll. Hynson foreman
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court
house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday
of August being the twenty first day of said month in the year
of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine cometh the afd
James Stewart in his proper person and prayeth that his
& his Suretys recognizance taken as afd may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that James Stewart and Patrick
Burn there recognizances taken as afd be Discharged
as prayed                  James Stewart & Patrick
Burn their recognizances taken as afd is by this Court
here Discharged there being no cause Shewn to the
Contrary

His Lordship    We the above said Jurors doe
agt    present Daniel Perkins for an
Daniel Perkins    Assault & Battery on the body of
Stephen Sturgeon                  Nathll. Hynson foreman
Ordered by this Court here that James Doran
give Security for his Appearance at next November
Court as an Evidence in behalf of his Lordship against
the afd Daniel Perkins
Thereupon William Salsbury of Kent County
Blacksmith present here in Court in his proper
person Acknowledgeth himself to be Indebted unto
his Lordhsip the Lord propry of the province of
Maryland in the sum of ten pounds current money
to be made and Leveyed on his body goods & Chattels
Lands and Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship
his heirs and Successors With Condition to
this recognizance that James Doran [af]d makes
