His Lordship    Kent County fst Be it remembered
agt    that on the            day of            Anno
Mary Harvey    Dom. seventeen hundred thirty and nine
personally Appeared Mary Harvie John Jones and Robert
Key (and Acknowledged themselves)to before me the subscriber
One of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the afd County and
Acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto his Lordship the
Lord propry of Maryland Mary Harvey in the sum of ten
pounds and John Jones & Robert Key in the sum of five
pounds currant money each to be made and Leveyed on
their bodys goods and chattels Lands and Tenements for
the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors With
Condition to this recognizance that Mary Harvie afsd.
makes her personall Appearance before the Justices
of Our next County Court to be held on the third tuesday
of August next then and there to Answer unto such
things as shall be Objected against her on his Lordships
behalf and Then this recognizance to be Void Else
to remain in full force in Law                  B. Hands
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honourable
the Lord propry that now is for the body of Kent County
upon their Oath do present that Mary Harvie late of
Kent County Spinster on the first day of July Anno Dom.
seventeen hundred & thirty eight at Kent County afd did
permitt a Certain Man to the Jurors unknown to
have carnall knowledge of her body and with the said
man and did committ fornication and then & there did
permitt herself to be gott with child by the said unknown
man and afterwards at the County afd was delivered
of a Bastard child against the peace &c And against
the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case made and
provided &c                                      J George
Evide. Bedd. Hands
           On the Back of the afd Indictmt. was Indorsed
                                     Billa Vera Nathll. Hynson forem.
