and Leveyed on his body goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements
for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors With
Condition to this recognizance That John Swift afd makes his
personall Appearance before the Justices of this present
Court dureing the sitting of the same And in the mean time
to keep the peace & be of good behavour (Ispecially towards
Cornelius Toby) Then this recognizance to be Void Else
to remain in full force in Law
And now here to wit at Kent County Court cometh
the afd John Swift in his proper person & prayeth that
his recognizance taken as afd may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that John Swift afd his
recognizance taken as afd be Discharged as prayed
John Swift his recognizance taken as afd is by
this Court here Discharged there being no cause shewn
to the Contrary

His Lordship    We of the Grand Jury do
agt    present John Macdonald
John McDonald    late of Kent County Labourer
for Stealing One pockett book of the Value of One shill.
& Six pence Currant money of Maryland
                                                               Jams. Ringgold forem.
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honourable
the Lord propry that now is for the body of Kent County afd
upon their Oath do present that John Mc.Donald late of
Kent County Labourer on the first day of June Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred & thirty nine with force & Arms
at the County afd One pockett Book of the Value of twenty
pounds of tobacco of the goods and chattels of a Certain
John Blakely then & there being found then & there
feloniously Stole & Carried away against the peace &c
And against the form of Act of Assembly in Such case
made and provided                  J George
