And now here to wit at Kent County afd at the Court house in
the Town of Chester in said County the third tuesday in August
being the fifteenth day of said month in the year of Our Lord
seventeen hundred thirty and eight cometh the afd Lord propry. by
Tench Francis his Attorney and prayeth that the afd Edward
Williams to the Information afd might Answer
And now here to wit on the day and year afd cometh Edward
                         in
Williams here into Court and pr in his proper person & saith
that he cannot gainsay the Information afd so as afd against
him brought nor can he say but that he is guilty of the prsses afd
Above upon him Imposed as by the Information afd it is
Alledged and thereupon Submits to the Court
Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at
Kent County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in
said County on the third tuesday of August being the fifteenth
day of said month in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred
thirty & eight that the afd Edward pay the sum of two
pounds ten shillings current money of Maryland as a fine
for Committing the Offence afd Also it is Considered by
the Justices afd at the time and place afd that the said Edwd.
pay the sum of five hundred and eight pounds of tobacco
Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the Severall Officers
of this Court &c.                           Jams Smith Clk
It is ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivd.
the sherr. of Kent County And William Harris Gent. prest.
here in Court Acknowledgeth himself Indebted unto the
Receipt of the Same
Ordered by this Court here that the afd Edward give Security
for the Fees afd Accrueing on the premisses afd to the Severall
Officers of this Court
Thereupon James Calder of Kent County Gent. and
present here in Court Acknowledgeth himself Indebted
