Labourer on the first day of May Anno Dom. seventeen hundred
& thirty nine with force and Arms at the County afd One Shallop
or Boat of the Value of One thousand pounds of tobacco of the
goods and chattels of a Certain Matthew Kennar then and there
feloniously being found then and there feloniously Stole took &
Carried away against the peace &c And against the form of
the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided

On the Back of the afd Indictment was Indorsed as fol. Vizt
                          Ignoramus Jas Ringgold foreman
Ordered by this Court here that the afd John give Security for
the Fees Accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this
Court And he having no One to Offer nor no one offering for
him Thereupon he is Committed into the Custody of the sher.
of Kent County untill he give Security as afd
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the
Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the
third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said
month in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine
cometh the afd Matthew Kennar in his proper person
& prayeth that his & his Suretys recognizance taken as afd
may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that Matthew Kenner, James
Moore & Salathiel Denmore their recognizances taken
as afd be Discharged as prayed
Matthew Kennar James Moore and Salathiel
Denmore their recognizances taken as afd is by this
Court here Discharged their being no cause shewn to
the Contrary
