Thereupon Matthew Kennar James Moore & Salathiel
Denmore of Kent County personally Appeared before Us

the Subscriber One ^ of his Lordships Justices of the peace
for the afd County on the eight day of May Anno Dom. seventeen
hundred thirty & nine and Acknowledged themselves to be Indebt:
:ed unto his Lordship the Lord prop^ry of Mary;and Matthew
Kenner in the sum of twenty pounds curr^t. money James
Moore and Salathiel Denmore in the sum of ten pounds
like money each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys
goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements for the Use of his
said Lordship his heirs and Successors With Condition
to this recognizance that Matthew Kennar afd makes his
personall Appearance before the Justices of Our next County
Court to be held at Our Court house in Chester Town in the County
afd on the third tuesday in June next Ensueing Then and there
to give what he knows in Evidence Concerning a Certain John
Mullen's feloniously takeing a Shallop the proper goods
of the said Kennar Then this recognizance to be Void and
of no Effect otherwise to remain in full force power and
