Submitts to the Court
Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at
Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said
County on the third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said
month in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine
that the afd Cornelius Toby pay the sum of two shil. & Six
pence current money as a fine for Committing the Assault afd
Also it is Considered by the Justices afd that the said Corn.
pay the sum of three hundred twenty nine pounds of tobacco
costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the Severall Officers
of this Court &c                                      Jams Smith Clk
Ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivered the
sher. of Kent County And Simon Wilmer Gentn. sher.
being prSent here in Court Acknowledgeth the receipt of the same
Att Which said day & year afd at Kent County Court afd
cometh the afd Cornelius Toby and prayeth that his and
his Suretys recognizance taken as afd may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that the afd Cornelius and
Gideon their recognizance taken as afd be Discharged as
prayed                  Cornelius Toby & Gideon Pearce
their recognizances taken as afd is by this Court here
Discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary
Att Which said day and year afd last mentioned cometh
John Swift in his proper person and prayeth that his
recognizance taken as afd may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that the afd John Swift his
recognizance taken as afd be Discharged as prayed
John Swift his recognizance taken as afd is by this
Court here Discharged there being no Cause shewn to
the Contrary
