Vizt. Billa Vera Jams. Ringgold foreman And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said month in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine cometh the afd Lord propry by Josa. George his Attorney and prayeth that the afd Ellinor to the Indictment afd may Answer And the afd Ellinor in her proper person comes and defends the force & injury when &c And saith that she is in no Sort guilty of the premisses afd above upon her Imposed as by the Indictment afd it is Alledged and there of She putteth herself upon the Country Thereupon Command was given to the sher. of Kent County that he Immediately cause to come here twelve &c by whom &c who neither &c to recognize &c because as well &c of which sd. precep the said sher. to wit Simon Wilmer Gentleman now here at this day to wit the nineteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & nine makes return that he hath here ready twelve &c As by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwards to wit the day & year last above mentioned come again the afd Lord Propry by his Attorney afd and the afd Ellinor in her proper person And the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled & called likewise come to wit John Gresham, Nathaniel Ricketts, James Ringgold, Francis Barney, Bullmn.
