afd Upon their Oath do say that the afd Ellinor Kelsey
is guilty as She Stands Indicted and by John Gresham their
foreman all so Say                           And thereupon it is demanded
of the same Ellinor here of if any thing for herself She hath to
say knoweth Wherefore the Court here to Judgment and Execn.
of her upon the premisses to preceed Ought not who nothing
farther Saith only as before She had said &c
Whereupon all & Singular the premisses being by
the Court here fully Seen & understood It is Considered by
the same Court here that the afd Ellinor Kelsey shall stand
in and upon the pillory in the County afd for the Space of
half an hour And shall be Whipped at the publick Whiping
post of the afd County with ten Lashes upon the bare back
of her the same Ellinor and the blood to Appear And it
is Command to the sher. afd that he do Execution thereof
upon her the same Ellinor Immediately at his Perrill &c
And it is farther Considered by the same Court here that
the afd Ellinor do pay unto the afd George Strange the
Sum of thirty two pounds of tobacco being the four fold
of the Value of the goods afd so as afd Stolen And that
She the said Ellinor not having Wherewithall to
Satisfie the four fold afd Thereupon She is
Committed into the Custody of the Sher. of Kent
County untell the four fold afd be Satisfied
It is Also Considered by the Same Court here that the
afd Ellinor pay the Sum of Eight hundred Sixty & Seven
pounds of tobacco Costs Accrueing on the premiss afd to
the Officers of this Court And she not having Wherewithall
to Satisfie the fees afd nor no One offering to do it for her
Thereupon She is Committed into the Custody of the
sher. of Kent County untill the fees afd be Satisfyed
And no at to wit the day and Year afd last mentioned
cometh Simon Wilmer Gentleman sher. of the afd County
And makes return thereof to the Court here that he hath
