Ann Farthing	March in the 25th year of Our Dom.
	&c in the year of Our Lord 1738 that

he should take Anne Farthing late of Kent County Spinster
if she should be found in his Bailwick and her safe keep so that
he have her body before the Justices of Our next County Court
to be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said Co^ty
on the third tuesday of June next to Answer unto an Indictment
of fornication And that the said sher have at the time and
place afd the said Writt Att Which said third tuesday of
June cometh here into the afd County Court Simon Wilmer Gent.

here thereon Indorsed as fol. Viz^t Cepi p^r S. Wilmer
Kent County fs^t The Jurors for the right honourable the
Lord Prop^ry that now is for the body of Kent County upon their
Oath do present that Ann Farthing late of Kent County Spinster
on the first day of May Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty
eight at the County afd fornication with a Certain Man to the
Jurors unknown and the same person then and there did p^rmitt
to have carnall knowledge of her body and then and there a
bastard child to begett against the peace &c And against
the peace &c form of the Act of Assembly in such case made
