176 when &c And saith that he is in no Sort Guilty of premisses afd Above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment it is Alledged and thereof he putteth himself Upon the Country &a. And he who Followeth for the Lord propry in like manner Saith he is Guilry &c J George Thereupon Command was given to the sher. of Kent County that he Immediately cause to come here twelve &c by whom &c who neither &c to recognize &c because as well &c of Which said precept the said sher. to wit Simon Wilmer Gent. now here at this day to wit the nineteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thrity & nine makes return that he hath here ready twelve &c As by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwards to wit the day & year last mentioned Come again the afd Lord propry by his Attorney afd And the afd William Graves in his proper person And the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and called likewise come to wit James Ringgold, Nathaniel Ricketts, Henry Trulock, Francis Barney, Bulman Medford, Saml. Mansfeild, Michael Hackett, Richard Peacock, Robt. Mansfeild Hans Hanson, James Thomas & William Absoly, who being duely Elected tryed & Sworn to say the truth in the premisses the afd William the Defendt. Appearing to the Verdict of the Jurors afd Upon their Oath do say William Graves is not guilty as he stands Indicted And by their foreman all so Say &c Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said month in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & nine that the afd William Graves as to the Indictment afd he go thereof Without Day is Considered by the Justices afd that the afd William |
