Ordered by this Court here that the afd Margarett enter into recoge.
with Security to the County afd for the maintainance of the afd
Bastard child
Thereupon Margarett Dazey and Thomas Hill of Kent
County Acknowledgeth themselves Joyntly & severally to be
Indebted unto his Lordship the right honourable the Lord propry
of Maryland in the sum of five thousand pounds of tobacco to
to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods & Chattles Lands
and Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs &
Successors With Condition to this recognizance that
the afd Margt. & Thomas do keep the County afd from the
maintanance of the afd Bastard child Then this recognizance
to be Void Else to remain in full force in Law &&

His Lordship    Command was given to the sherr.
agt    of Kent County on the 24th day of
Sarah Whitehead    March in the 25th year of Our Domn.

    &c in the year of Our Lord 1738 that
he should take Sarah Whitehead late of Kent County Spinster
if she shall be found in his Bailwick and him safe keep so
that he have her body before the Justices of Our next County
Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in
said County on the the third tuesday of June next to Answer unto
an Indictment of fornication And that the said sher. have
at the time and place afd the said Writt &c Att Which
said third tuesday of June cometh Simon Wilmer Gent.
sher. of Kent County and makes return thereof to the Court
here thereon Indorsed as fol. Vizt Cepi Corpus pr S Wilmer
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honourable the
Lord propry that now is for the body of Kent County afd upon
their Oath do present that Sarah Whitehead late of Kent
County Spinster on the first day of May Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred & thirty Eight at Kent County afd
