County on the third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said
month in the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & nine
cometh the afd Lord propry by Joshua George her Attorney and
prayeth that the afd Edmund to the Indictment afd may answer
And the afd Edmund in his proper person comes and defends
the force and injury when &c And Saith that he cannot gainsay the
Indictment afd so as afd against him brought nor can he say but
that the said he is guilty of the premisses afd above upon him
Imposed as by the Indictmt. afd it is alledged And thereof Submitts
to the Court                           Therefore it is Considered
by the Justices here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court
house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday
of June being being the nineteenth day of said month in the
year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine that the afd
Edmund pay the sum of three pounds current money of
Maryland as a fine for the Assault afd Also it is Considered
that the said Edmund pay the sum of four hundred & ninety
pounds of tobacco costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the
Officers of this Court &c                           Jams Smith Cl.
And now here at the afd third tuesday in June being the day
& Year afd last mentioned cometh the afd Edmd. in his proper
person and prayeth that his & his Suretys recognizance taken
for his Appearance to this Court may be discharged
Ordered by this Court here that Edmund Dulany Alexander
Adair and Philip Christfeild their Recognizances taken
as afd be Discharged as prayed
Edmund Dulany Alexr Adair & Philip Kennard
their Recognizances taken as afd is by this Court here dischd.
there being no cause shewn to the Contrary &c
Att Which said day & year afd cometh Phillip Christfeild &
Joseph Woodall in their proper persons and prayeth that
their recognizances taken as afd for their Appearance to
this Court as Evidences in behalf of his Lordship against
the afd Edmund may be Discharged
