155 The afd Bowles Green being at the Barr here in hisproper person prays that the Court here may not give or pronounce any Judgment on the Verdict of the Jurors afd because he saith that he hath been here to fore Convicted in this County Court upon an Indictment for theiving and Stealing other goods and chattles under the Value of One thousand pounds of tobacco and that the Record of that Conviction is Still in force & un Upon which the Court finds that the afd Bowles formerly had been Convicted in the afd County Court as by the reasons afd is Sett forth And thereupon Ordered that the same Bowles Green enter into recognize. with Security for his Appearance and good behavour to the next Court of Assize to be held for the County afd then and there to Answer unto Such things as Shall be Objected against him on his Lordships behalf &a. Thereupon Bowles Green Joseph Mason and Benjamin Sutton of Kent County planters and prest. here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledgeth themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honourable the Lord Propry of Maryland Bowles Green in the sum of fifty pounds current money of the province afd Joseph Mason and Benjamin Sutton in the sum of twenty five pounds like mo: :ney Each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the |
