154 sherr. to wit Simon Wilmer Gentleman now here at this day to wit the twentyeth day of March in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty and eight makes return that he hath here ready twelve &c as by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwards to wit the day and year last above mentioned came again the afd Lord propry by his Attorney afd and the afd Bowles Green by James Calder his Attorney Also And the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and called likewise cometh to wit William Hynson, Robert Lusby, Nicholas Massey, Nichs. Vansant, Martin Potter, Francis Barney, Bullamn. Medford, Isaac Freeman, Morgan Hurtt, John Clove, John Smith & Benjamin Weekes who being duely elected tried and Sworn to say the truth in the prsses and the same Bowles Green the prisoner Appearing to the Verdict of the Jurors afd Upon their Oath do say that Bowles Green is Guilty as Stands Indicted and by their Foreman all so say After which the afd Bowles Green being Asked what he had to say why Judgment Should not be given against him on the Verdict of the Jurors afd Upon which he prays Stay of Judgment which is granted and time is given untill June Court next being the third tuesday in Same month Att which said third tuesday of June being the nineteenth day of said month in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty & nine Come again the afd Bowles Green in his proper person And the afd Lord propry by Joshua George his Attorney And the same Bowles Green puts in his reasons as fol. to wit The |
