afd County and Acknowledged himself to be Indebted unto his
Lordship the right honrble the Lord propry of Maryland in the sum
of ten pounds Currt. money of Maryland to be made and Leveyed on
his body goods and Chttles Lands and Tenements for the Use of his
said Lordship his heirs & Successors With Condition to this recoge. that
John Chapman afd makes his personall Appe. before the Justices
of Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of
Chester in said County on the third tuesday of March next to be held
then and there to give Evide. in behalf of his Lordship against
the afd Benjamin Green then this Recoge. to be Void Else to remain
in full force in Law                           Ebenr. Blackistone
Kent County fst Be it remembered that on the Sixteenth day
of Novemr. in the year of Our Lord God One thousand seven hundd
and thirty Eight personally Appeared Richd. Norton before me
the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the
afd County and Acknowledged himself to be Indebted unto his Ldp
the right honrble the Lord Propry of Maryland in the sum of ten
pounds currt. money of the province afd to be made and Leveyed
on his body goods and Chattles Lands & Tenements for the Use
of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors With Condition to
this recoge. that Richard Norton makes his personall Appe. before
the Justices of Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in
the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of March
then and there to give in behalf of his Lordship against the afd Benja.
Green Then this recoge. to be Void Else to remain in full force
power & Virtue in Law            Ebenr. Blackistone
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honrble the Lord propry
that now is for the body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do
present that Benjamin Green late of said County planter on the
first day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty eight
with force and Arms at the County afd in and upon a Certain Wm.
Graves in the peace of God and the said Lord propry then and there
being an Assault did make and him the said William Graves did
then and there beat wound and evilly treat and other harms to him
then and there did to the great damage of him the said William
Graves and against the peace of the sd. Lord Propry his good
rule & Government &c                  J George
On the Back of the afd Indictment was Endorsed as fol. Vizt
                          Ignoramus Chrisr Hall
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court
house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third
