Then this Recoge. to be Void Else to remain in full force in Law

Kent fst Be it remembered that George Wilson of this County
planter & Lambert Wilmer of the said County Gentleman this
nineteenth day of March One thousand seven hundred thirty
and eight in the twenty third year of his Lordships Dominion &c
came before me one of his Lordships Justices of this County and
Acknowledged themselves indebted to the right Honourable the
Lord propry of this province in the manner and form folo.
(that is to say) the said George Wilson in the sum of One
hundred pounds and Lamber Wilmer in the sum of fifty
pounds currt. money of this province to be made & Leveyed
to his right honourable the Lord propry of this Province his
heirs and Successors if the said George Wilson shall make
default in the Condition here under Written The Condition
of the above Recoge. is such that if the above bounden George
and Elinor his wife do make their Personall Appearance at
the next Court to be holden for this County to give in Such Evide.
as they know concerning a Certain Ann Grimes having a base
begotten Child that then this recoge. to be Void and of no Effect
otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue Taken and
Acknowledged before me the day & year afd Thos. William junr.
Kent County fst The Jurors for the right honrble the Lord Pry
that now is for the body of Kent County upon their Oath do pre:
:sent that Ann Grimes late of Kent County Spinster on the first day
of May Anno Dom. seventeen hundred & thirty eight & at Sundry
times as well before as after at Kent County afd Carnally did know
a Certain man to the Jurors unknown and the same person
at the County afd did permit to beget on the body of her the said
Ann Grimes a Bastard Child and to the Jurors afd upon their
Oath afd say that the said Ann Grimes the fact of fornication
the day and year afd at the County afd did Commit against the
form of the Act of Assembly in such case made & Provided
Evidences George Wilson & Uxor                           J George
On the Back of the afd Indictmt. was Indorsed as fol. Vizt
                          True Bill Chrisr. Hall foreman
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house
in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of
March being the twentyeth day of said month in the year
