His Lordship    The afd Wm. at last Court entered into recoge.
agt    for his Appeare. & good behavr to this Court &c
Wm. Pope
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in
the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of March
being the twentyeth day of said month in the year of Our Lord God
seventeen hundred thirty & eight Cometh William Pope in his
proper person & prayeth that the afd his and his Suretys recoge.
taken as afd may be Discharged &c            Ordered by this
Court here that Wm. Pope his recognize. taken as afd be Dischd.
as prayed William Pope his recoge. taken as afd is by this
Court here Discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary
Att Which said day and year afd cometh Stephen Glanvill
here into Court in his proper person & prayeth that his re:
:cognizance taken as afd may be Discharged Ordered by this
Court here that Stephen Glanvill his recoge. taken as afd be
Dischd. as prayed &c Stephen Glanvill his recognizance
taken as afd is by this Court here Dischd. there being no Cause to the
Contrary &c            Att Which said day & year afd last mention'd
Cometh George Garnett here into Court in his proper person &
prayeth that his recoge. taken as afd may be Discharged
Ordered by this Court here that George Garnett his recoge. taken as
afd is by this Court here Ordered to be Discharged as prayed

discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary &c

His Lordship    Kent County fst The Jurors for the right
agt    honourable the Lord propry that now is for the
Elisha Reed
body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do present that Elisha
Reed late of Kent County Labourer on the first day of Aprill Anno
Domini seventeen hundred & thirty eight at Kent County afd did
Committ fornication with a Certain Jane Reed and then & there had
Carnall knowledge of the said Jane & then & there did beget on the
body of her the said Jane a Bastard child against the peace &c
and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such case made &
Provided &c                           J George
On the Back of the afd Indictment was Indorsed as fol. Vizt.
                 A True Bill Chrisr. Hall Foreman Gd. Jury
And now here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in
the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of March
being the twentyeth day of said month in the year of Our Lord
One thousand Seven hundred thirty & eight Cometh the afd Lord
Propry by Josa. George his Attry & prayeth that the afd Elisha
to the Indictment afd may Answer                                      And
