Att Which said third tuesday of Novemr. being the day & year afd Cometh
John Brown here into Court in his proper person & prayeth that his recoge
taken as afd for his Appe. as an Evide. against the afd Philip Hill to this
Court may be Discharged Ordered by this Court here that John Brown
his Recognizance taken as afd be Discharged as prayed John Brown
his recoge. taken as afd is by this Court here Discharged there being no
Cause Shewn to the Contrary &c            Att Which said day and year
afd last mentioned Cometh here into Court Charity Spearman in her
proper person and prayeth that her Recoge. taken as afd for the Appe.
of the afd John Brown to this Court as an Evide. against the afd Phil.
Hill to this Court may be Discharged       Ordered by this Court here
that Charity Spearman her Recognize. taken as afd be Dischd. as prayed
Charity Spearman her recognize. taken as afd is by this Court here

His Lordship    Kent County fst Be it remembered that on
agt    the twenty first day of Novemr. in the year of Our
Charles Fortescue    Lord Seventeen hundred thirty & eight Personally
Appeared George Garnett before me the Subscriber One of his Lordships
Justices of the peace for the afd County and Acknowledged himself to be Indebted
unto his Lordship the right Honrble the Lord Propry of the provinces of
Maryland in the Sum of five pounds Currt. money of the Prove. afd to
be made & Leveyed on his body goods & Chattles Lands & Tenemts. for
the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors With Condition
to this Recognize. that Mary the wife of the afd George do make her
Personal Appearance before the Justices of Our next County Court to
be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the
third tuesday of Novr. next to give Evide. in behalf of his Lordship agst.
the afd Charles Fortescue Then this recoge. to be void Else to stand
& remain in full force power & Virtue in Law                  C: Hynson

his Lordships Justices of the peace for the afd County and Acknowledged
himself Indebted to his Lordship the right honrble the Lord propry of
the province of Maryld. in the sum of five pounds current money of the
province afd to be made & Leveyed on his body goods & Chattles Lands
and Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successrs.
With Condition to this recognize. that John Piner do make his
personall Appe. before the Justices of Our next County Court to
be held at Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County
on the third tuesday of Novemr. Instant Then and there to give his
Evidence in behalf of his Lordship against the afd Charles Fortescue
