Mr. Hobbs offered the following orders:
Ordered, That the thanks of this House are hereby ten-
dered to William Alexander, Chairman of the committee on
Judiciary, for the energy and ability with which he has dis-
charged his duties as chairman of said committee; also,
Ordered, That the Chairman of the committee on Corpora-
tions receive the thanks of this House for the able and
prompt attention he has given to the business entrusted to his
care; also,
Ordered, That the thanks of this House are due and
are hereby tendered to Mr. Stirling, Chairman of the com-
mittee on Ways and Means, for the signal ability with which
he has discharged his duties as chairman of so important a
committee; also,
Ordered, That the thanks of this House are hereby ten-
dered to Mr. Dail, Chairman of the committee on Claims,
