Richard Brashears;

A bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money to pay
Thomas J. Wilson, for legal services rendered the State, at
the instance and request of the Comptroller, in the trial of the
case of Schley vs. The Comptroller of the Treasury, in the
Circuit Court of Anne Arundel county;

A bill entitled, an act to prevent free negroes or slaves from
having or using boats on the Potomac River;

A bill entitled, an act to provide for the recopying, rebind-
ing and completing some of the records in the office of the
clerk of the Superior court of Baltimore city;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays:"

A bill entitled, an act to apply to the support of common
schools, the amount of money received on account of the in-
terest upon the claim of the State, against the General Gov-
ernment, for money advanced by the State, during the late
war with England;

A bill entitled, an act to amend the act entitled, an act to
incorporate the New Cut Turnpike Road Company, passed at
the session of 1858, and to supply an omission in said act;

A bill entitled, an act to authorise incorporated churches,'
congregations and religious societies, to sell and convey their
property;

The bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed from Morris
S. Wickersham and wife to John Plumbey;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act to refund to Thos. E. Martin, Wm.
S. Weedon and Wm. V. Stinchcomb, a certain sum of money
illegally forfeited and paid by them into the Treasury;

A bill entitled, an act further to provide for carrying into
effect the 22d section of the 4th article of the Constitution, so
far as relates to the courts of equity in the city of Baltimore;

A bill entitled, an act in aid of the benevolent objects of
the corporation in the city of Baltimore, erected under the act
of Assembly of 1852, chapter 237, called the Home of the
Friendless, by enabling them to have committed legally to
their care and control, the destitute children who are the sub-
jects of their charity;

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Towsontown Rail-
road company;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore Ex-
