AMENDMENTS PROPOSED:

Sec. 1, line 68, after the word "dollars," insert the follow-
ing, "for the Maryland Penitentiary thirty thousand dollars,
said sum to be payable after the 1st day of May next."

In same sec., line 68 and 69, after the words "African col-
onization," strike out "ten thousand dollars," and insert
instead "five thousand dollars."

In same sec. in line 206, strike out "seven thousand," and
insert "four thousand."

In line 207, strike out the words "five thousand," and in-
