REPORT:
The committee on Ways and Means, to which was referred
the petition of the President and Directors of the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad Company, in relation to the capitation tax
on passengers, levied under the act of 1832, chapter 175,
with leave to bring in a bill abating said tax on that part of
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad lying between Baltimore
and the Patapsco river or Washington junction, beg leave to
submit the following report:
