A bill entitled, an act to make valid an assignment or con-
veyance from English Evans to Otho H. Williams, for cer-
tain lots of land in Allegany county;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays ;"
A bill entitled, an act to make valid and effectual the de-
vise and provisions in the last will and testament of Thomas
Shields deceased, for the benefit of the First Baptist Church
in Philadelphia;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays;"

A bill entitled an act to facilitate the collection of debts in
suits instituted in the Superior Court of Baltimore city, and
in the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore city;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays;"

A bill entitled, an act to compensate James S. Franklin,
former State's Attorney for Anne Arundel county, for the
trial of the case of the State versus Thomas R. Tongue;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays;"

A bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed from Robert H.
Powell and Elizabeth his wife to Benjamin Bassett;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendments."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED :

Insert at the end of the 1st section, "Provided that nothing
in this act contained shall be construed to affect the rights or
interests of bona fide creditors or purchasers for valuable con-
sideration which accrued before the passage of this act;

Which was assented to.
