So the House refused to reconsider the vote.
Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county, presented a memorial from
B. Arthur and A. Pollock, of Baltimore county, praying re-
lief therein set forth;
Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
Mr. McGonigal presented a petition from thirty-two citizens
of Talbot and Caroline counties, for an appropriation of a sum
of money to remove a lot of piling at Dover Bridge, on Chop-
tank river;
Which was referred to the Talbot and Caroline county dele-
gations.
Mr. Ford, of Cecil, presented a petition from the Commis-
sioners and fifty citizens of Charlestown, in Cecil county, pray-
ing the passage of an act authorising the Commissioners of
said town to sell to the trustees of the M. E. Church, in said
town, a certain lot of ground therein specified ;
Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.
