and Maria Susannah Jones, of Queen Anne's county;

The bill entitled, an act for the relief of the sureties on the
official bonds of Benjamin Marshall, former collector of taxes
in Charles county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled, an act to relieve Mathias N. Lind-
sey, Sheriff of Worcester county, from the payment of certain
taxes in Chancery, and fines and forfeitures due the State of
Maryland in the years 1842, 1843 and 1844 ;

effect the 22d section of the 4th article of the constitution, so

negro, of Frederick county, to dispose of his real and personal
estate, by last will and testament;

woman of color, to remain in the State, and to relieve her
from all penalties incurred by her removal into the State;
