State a sett of weights and measures, and each State furnish
to its several jurisdictions a duplicate thereof,
Resolved, That the Maryland standard, is most respectfully
recommended as the one to be adopted,
Resolved, That an authenticated copy of these resolutions
be forwarded to each of our Senators and Representatives in
Congress, and to the Governor of each State of the United
States;

Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be instruc-
ted to inquire and report to this House, whether, and to what
extent, it would be promotive of the public interest to give to
the Circuit courts plenary powers in respect of all private
business which generally comes before the Legislature ;

ported favorably on a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Patapsco Steam Tug Company of Baltimore;
Which was read the second time, and
