Section 1, line 2, after the word "who," insert "who is
now or;"

Mr. Worthington proposed the following amendments:
Section 2, line 3, strike out "or any other purposes;"

Section 2, line 3, after the word inspection, insert the
word "or;"
Which amendments were assented to.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, proposed the following a-
mendment:

In section 5, line 9, after the word warehouse strike out the
words "free from all costs and charges whatever either for out-
age, storage or cooperage," and insert in line thereof the
words at the costs of fifty cents per hogshead ;"

Which was not assented to.

Mr. Kenard proposed the following amendment:

Section 9, line 5, strike out "one dollar and twenty-five
cents," and insert "one dollar and and fifty cents;"
Which was assented to.
Mr. Stirling proposed the following amendment:

In line 8, section 12, strike out the words "popular branch"
and insert "House of Delegates ;"

Which was assented to.

Mr. Burgess proposed the following amendment:

In line 3, section 17, after the word "fifty-eight," insert
' -after which time the outage on Tobacco shall be reduced to
one dollar per hogshead ;"
