The rules were suspended, and he offered the following

Ordered, That a bill relating to the Female Academy of
Cambridge, be recommitted to the committee on Corporations;
Which was adopted.
Mr. Mackubin moved to reconsider the vote by which the
bill entitled, an act to prevent the selling of any article or ar-
ticle or articles of merchandize, and the opening of any place
of business in the city of Baltimore on Sunday, and also to
prevent the running of any steamboat or other ferry boat, or
any excursion steamboat within the corporate limits of the
city of Baltimore, on Sunday, was rejected :
