AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In the first section strike out in the 5th line the words "and
in the war with Great Britain in the year 1812;"
In the same section strike out in the 6th and 7th lines the
words " equal to half pay of a private soldier," and insert in
lieu thereof the words "of thirty dollars per annum."
In the second section strike out "two hundred'' wherever it
occurs and insert instead, "one hundred and fifty."
