now adjourn, which was determined in the affirmative, and
the House adjourned.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by Rev. Mr.
Veitch.

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Wickes presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Kent and Queen Anne's county to widen the draw of Chester
river bridge;

Which was referred to the committee on Kent and Queen
Anne's county delegations.
