A "bill entitled, an act to amend the act for the incorpora-
tion of the Grand Division of the State of Maryland of the
Order of the Sons of Temperance;

"Endorsed, passed by yeas and nays;"

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Charles S. Middleton, clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's county, for certain fees due him by the State ;

"Endorsed, passed by yeas and nays;"

Which was read and referred to the committee on Claims.

A bill entitled, an act to refund to James G. Henning and
William Thompson, of R, sums of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury by the said James G. Henning and Wil-
liam Thompson of E., on their offices in the years eighteen
hundred and fifty-two and eighteen hundred and fifty-three;

"Endorsed, passed by yeas and nays;"

Which was read a first time, and referred to the committee
on Ways and Means ;

A bill entitled, an act to regulate the holding of the terms
of the Circuit Courts within the sixth judicial circuit;

"Endorsed, passed by yeas and nays ;"

Which was read a first time, and referred to the delegations
of Baltimore county, Harford and Cecil.

A bill entitled, an act to provide for the increase of the
per diem allowance of the Commissioners of Somerset county;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act to legalise the election and acts of
the present Burgess, assistant Burgess and Commissioners of
the town of Boonsborough, in Washington county;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A, bill entitled, an act to authorise the Primary School
Commissioners for Election District No. 2, in Calvert county,
to lay out and establish a new school district in said election
district;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act allowing a pension to Ellen Shank,
widow of John Shank, a soldier of the Maryland line during
the Revolutionary War, and appropriating a sum of money
for the payment thereof;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
