Being upon its second reading;

Mr. Stonestreet proposed the following amendment:

In the 4th line of section 1, after* the words "sum of,"
strike out the words "one hundred and fifty," and insert the
the words "two hundred;"

Which was assented to.

The said bill as amended, was then read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to regulate the number and the
duties of coroners of Baltimore city, and fixing their compen-
sation;
