On motion of Mr. Thomas,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to grant the leave of the Legislature to a bequest
made in the last will and testament of Elizabeth C. Wootton,
late of Frederick county, deceased, to the Vestry of Zion
Parish, in said county.

On motion Mr. Kilbourn,

Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary to bring in
a bill to prevent the trespassing of cattle and other stock.

On motion of Mr. Root,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill for an act to incorporate Columbia Lodge, No.
58, of ancient Free and Accepted Masons, in Frederick city.

On motion of Mr. Tilghman,

Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to intro-
duce a bill for the protection of the harbors in the waters of
Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Tilghman,

Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to intro-
duce a bill for the better protection of fish in the waters of
Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Belt,

Leave was granted the Prince George's county delegation
to introduce a bill to increase the pay of jurors attending the
Circuit Court of Prince George's county.

On motion of Mr. Mackubin,

Leave was granted the Anne Arundel county delegation to
bring in a bill to incorporate the Annapolis Gas Light Com-
pany.

On motion of Mr. Lynch, of Baltimore county,
Leave was granted to the committee on Claims, to intro-
duce a bill supplementary to the act of 1846, chapter 347.

On motion of Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Port Deposit Library Asso-
ciation.

Mr. Hobbs, from the committee on Judiciary, reported fa-
vorably on a bill entitled, an act to regulate the recording of
deeds, executed and acknowledged prior to the act of 1856,
chapter 154, entitled an act to simplify and abridge the rules
and forms of conveyancing;
