The bill entitled, an act further amendatory of an act pass-
ed January session 1854, chapter 156, entitled, an act for the
relief of the sureties on the bonds of William Lyles, of Thomas,
former collector of the third Collection District of Prince
George's county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to authorise the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore city, to dispose of any property belong-
ing to said city, by lease or otherwise ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to authorise the Mayor and City
Council of Hagerstown, in Washington county, to levy a tax to
pay for lighting the streets of said town ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled, an act to provide for making an
index to judgments, &c., in the Circuit Court for Caroline
county, and for the rebinding of the indexes of the land
records, and directing the County Commissioners to levy by a
tax a sum sufficient to pay for the same;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled, and act to make valid a deed from
Calvert and wife to Elenora A. Calvert;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to make valid an assignment or
conveyance from Elijah Evans to Otho H. Williams, for cer-
tain lots of land in Allegany county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled, an act amendatory of the act of
Assembly, passed December session, 1834, chapter 87, and
entitled, an act to incorporate the Trustees of the Educational
Fund of the Baltimore Annual Conference;

Was read the second time, and by special order three-
fourths of all the members concurring, the third time, and
passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
