Which was read the first time.

Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county, from a select committee,
reported favorably on a bill entitled an act, to allow R. R.
Borman and Richard Grason extra compensation for services
rendered at the Circuit Court for Harford county :

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Claims.

Mr. Sudler, of Queen Anne's, from a select committee, re-
ported favorably on a bill entitled, an act for the relief of the
sureties on the bond of William Goldsborough, former col-
lector of taxes of Queen Anne's county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Magruder, from a select committee, reported favorably
on a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Mutual Fire In-
surance Company of Calvert county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Kilbourn, from a select committee, reported favorably
on a bill entitled, an act to change the name of Samuel Al-
bert Clagett, of Anne Arundel county, to the name of Albert
Clagett;

Which was as read the first time, by special order, the second
and third times, three-fourths of all the members concurring,
and passed by yeas and nays, as follow :
