The Speaker resumed the chair, and

Mr. Stirling, chairman of the Committee of the Whole, re-
ported that the committee had under consideration the bill
"entitled, a further supplement to an act, passed December
session, 1849, Ch. 177, entitled, an act to reduce the present
rates of premiums on Wolf, Wild Cats, and Foxes' scalps in
Allegany county,'' and had made no progress therein, and
asked to be discharged from the further consideration of the
same,

Which report was accepted.
On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

The House resolved itself into Committee of the Whole,
Mr. Hobbs in the chair.

After some time spent in Committee of the Whole,
The Speaker resumed the chair, and

Mr. Hobbs, chairman of the Committee of the Whole, re-
ported that the committee had had under consideration the
bill entitled, "a further supplement to an act, passed Decem-
ber session, 1849, Ch. 177, entitled, an act to reduce the pre-
sent rates of premiums on Wolf, Wild Cats and Foxes' scalps
in Allegany county," and recommend that the said bill pass
the House;

Which was accepted.

Mr. Lynch, of Baltimore city, by unanimous consent, with-
drew the amendment to said bill proposed by him.

Mr. Belt proposed the following amendment:
"Strike out all in reference to the Wild Cat;"
Which was not assented to.

The said bill was then read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Kilgour,

The rules were suspended, three-fourths concurring, and
the said bill was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follow:
