supplement to an act concerning the Annapolis and Elkridge
Railroad Company, passed at December session, 1841, chapter
161;

Mr. Alexander, from the committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably on a bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act re-
lating to the records of conveyances in the several counties in
this State, passed December session, 1833, chapter 88;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Alexander, from the committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably on a bill entitled, an act to make valid an assign-
ment or conveyance from Elijah Evans to Otho H. Williams,
for certain lots of land in Allegany county;
Which was read the first time.
A bill entitled, an act to establish a uniform rate of com-
pensation for the judges and clerks of election in this State;
Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county, proposed the following
amendment:
Add to section 4, "Provided that Baltimore county be ex-
cepted from the operation of this act."
