Ordered to be noted on the Journal that the absence of Mr.

The proceedings of Friday were read.
Mr. Mackubin moved that the words "the following" in the
46th line on page 17, of Friday's Journal, be stricken out, and
the word "A" be inserted in lieu thereof.
Mr. Stirling moved to amend by inserting the word " The,"
in lieu of the words " The following;"
The question being on the insertion of the word " The,"
