Also, delivered the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Methodist Preachers Aid Society, of the East Baltimore Con-
ference, and to give the assent of the Legislature to the pay-
ment and delivery by the Methodist Preacher's Aid Society,
of Baltimore, of certain funds and property to said Methodist
Preachers Aid Society, of the East Baltimore Conference;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Judiciary; also,

Returned the bill entitled, an act to provide for procuring
for the State Library, copies of sundry papers relating to the
history of the colony of Maryland; also,

The bill entitled, an act to authorise the trustees of Church-
ville Presbyterian congregation to hold certain real estate;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

The Senate bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed of
mortgage from Robert H. Rouse and wife, of Kent county,
to James Parker Selby, bearing date the 12th day of Decem-
ber, 1855, and recorded among the land records of Kent
county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, a supplement to an act entitled, an act to
incorporate the School Commissioners of Baltimore county,
passed January session, 1853;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to provide for a general index of
judgments in Talbot county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to provide for the copying of por-
tions of certain record books in Talbot county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to change the commencement of
the April term of the Circuit Court of Dorchester county;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Village of Port
Tobacco, in Charles county,

Being upon its second reading,
