Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations;

Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Belt, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled,
an act for the relief of Thomas S. Beall surviving Executor
of Aquilla Beall, former clerk of Prince George's county ;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Judiciary.

The bill entitled, an act relating to Foreign Corporations
and their Agencies, being upon its second reading,

On motion of Mr. Stirling,
Said bill was referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

The bill entitled, an act to empower the board of commis-
sioners of Washington county, to lay off a new election district
in said county, to be composed of part of election districts No.
3 and 4, in said county, and to cause the polls thereof to be
held at Cunningham's Cross Roads ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act entitled, an act to amend an act
incorporating the Maryland Institute for the promotion of the
Mechanic Arts, passed December session, 1849, chapter 114 ;

Was read the second time, by special order, the third time,
three fourths of all the members concurring, and passed by
yeas and nays as follows :
