George M. Smith and Edmund Law Rogers, having received
the highest number of votes cast, are duly elected to the
General Assembly of Maryland.

In Washington County the Judges return that—

James W. Leggett received 2,711 votes.

John F. Gray received 2,725 votes.

Henry Grosh received 2,685 votes.

George C. Rohrer received 2,744 votes.

John W. Summers received 2,727 votes.

W. A. Riddlemoser received 2,695 votes.

Charles J. Nesbitt received 2,711 votes.

Andrew R. Schnebly received 2,725 votes.

Josiah Showman received 2,677 votes.

John T. Grimes received 2,694 votes.

and that George C. Rohrer, John Wesley Summers, John F.
Gray and Andrew R. Schnebly having received the highest
number of votes cast, are duly elected Delegates to the Gene-
ral Assembly of Maryland; and also return James W. Leg-
gett and Charles J. Nesbitt, as having each received an equal
number of votes cast, and therefore a tie vote.

In Montgomery county the Judges return that—
Washington Duvall received 1228 votes.
Nicholas Worthington " 1222 "
H. Franklin Veirs         " 1116 "

Washington Waters " 1105 "

and that Washington Duvall and Nicholas Worthington hav-
ing received the highest number of votes cast, are duly elected
to the General Assembly of Maryland.

In Allegany county the Judges return that Charles B.
Thruston, William R. Barnard, William Kilgour and John
D. Mountz each received a majority of the legal votes cast,
and are therefore duly elected Delegates to the General As-
sembly of Maryland.

In Carroll county the Judges return that—

Samuel Reindollar received 2298 votes.
Samuel McKinstry " 2346 "
Milton Day                  " 2262 "

and as having received a majority of the votes cast, are
therefore duly elected to the General Assembly of Maryland.

In Howard county the Judges return that—
William Welling received 835 votes.
