176.  An act to incorporate the President and Directors of
the Maryland Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore Mary-
land.

177.  An act amendatory of an act passed January session
1854, chap. 179, entitled, an act for the relief of Robert
Wright and sureties, former collector of the first collection
district of Prince George's county.

178.  An act to amend the act entitled, an act for clearing
out Pocomoke river, in Worcester county, by means of a lot-
tery, passed at December session, 1840, ch. 215, and to repeal
the several supplements thereto.

179.   An act making an appropriation for the erection of a
hospital for the insane in this State.

180.  An act to increase the number of justices of the
peace and constables in Kent county.

181.  An act to appropriate a sum of money to pay Chas.
S. Middleton, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
county, for certain fees due him by the State.

182.   An act to amend the act entitled, an act for the incor-
poration of the Grand Division of the State of Maryland, of
the order of the Sons of Temperance.

183.   An act to increase the salary of the clerk of the Com-
missioners of Washington county.

184.  An act to allow George Davis, of Kent county, Dela-
ware, to work his slaves on his lands in Cecil county, Mary-
land, from time to time.

185.  An act to authorise the Orphans' Court of Somerset
county to purchase a new seal, and to provide for the better
preservation of the records in their office.

186.  An act to make valid a bill of sale from James Deal,
of Anne Arundel county, to Franklin Waters.

187.  An act to amend the act to incorporate the Elkton,
Andora and Lewisville Plankroad Company, passed at the
January session, 1853, ch. 322.

188.  An act for the establishment of a system of public
schools in Somerset county.

. 189. An act to allow William O. Chappell, late Sheriff for
Montgomery county, and collector of election district No. 4,
of Montgomery county, further time to complete his collec-
tions.
