On motion of Mr. Belt,                       

The rules were suspended, and he offered the following

Ordered, That, the clerk of this, House furnish to the Prin-
cipal of St.. John's College, one, hundred copies, of printed
Document G., being the report in reference to the establish-
ment of a Normal School, in connection with said college;

Which was adopted;                                

Mr. Alexander, from the committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably on the bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed to
Nicholas V. Browne;

Mr. Alexander, from the committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably on a bill entity an act for the relief of James
Murray;                                                                 

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Belt,

The rules were suspended and he offered the following
order:                                                                         

Ordered, That the committee on Judiciary have power to
send for persons and paper, and to examine witnesses in
reference to the bill before that committee, touching the reg-
ulation; of the fees of the criers of the Criminal Court, the
Court of Common Pleas and and Superior Court of Baltimore city;

Which was adopted.
