BALTIMORE CITY—

                  The bill entitled, an act to amend the 4th arti-

cle of public local laws, by prescribing the man-
ner of collecting and disposing of the costs taxed
             in the Criminal court of, and paying the salaries

              of the various officers thereof; favorably reported

and passed.

BALTIMORE COUNTY—Leave granted delegation from,
to bring in a bill to change the name of Lucretia

              Smithson of, to Lucretia Bosley, 46; favorable re-

port, read the first time, rules suspended, read
second and third time and passed by yeas and

nays, 59; returned from the Senate, endorsed

passed by yeas and nays.

Petition of Adolphus Schaefer and others,
corporators of the Green Spring Avenue Com-
pany, asking amendment of their charter refer-
                red to delegation from, 51; reported favorably re-

ferred to committee on Corporations, 67; favora-
ble report, proceedings, passed, 234; further pro-
ceedings on, and passed as amended, 284, 285 ;
amendment from the Senate, adopted, 691.

Leave was granted Baltimore county delega-
tion to bring in a bill to change the name of
Daniel Orrick Bosley to Daniel Orrick, junior,
73; reported favorably, read first time, 89; rules
suspended, read a second and third time and
passed by yeas and nays, 90; returned from Senate
endorsed "passed."

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delega-
tion to bring in a bill to continue the corporate
existence of the Elysville Manufacturing Com-
pany, 73; read third time, and passed, 322.

            Leave was granted to, to bring in a bill to

authorise commissioners of, to subscribe five thou-
sand dollars to the stock of Liberty Road Turn-
pike Company, 37.

troduce a bill relating to the duties of auditor and
